Clermont East Ridge Coach Bud O’Hara was told Wednesday he no longer has to wear a protective boot on his broken right fibula all the time.

O'Hara still has to wear it when he is out on the field at practice and said he cannot be on the sidelines during games but he said it was a big relief to get out of the boot to do normal activities, such as driving  a car. He will be in the press box for this week’s game against West Orange and that may be where he coaches from during the remainder of the season.

“I don’t think I will be able to be on the sidelines all season,” O’Hara said.
